Everyone knows that games are entertaining, but did you know they can be utilized in teaching?  Game-based learning is not only simple to implement, but it really gets kids enthusiastic about learning.

Games can be fun. Just like learning can be fun. Now when you combine the two, you will find that games used to help with learning can be just as fun. It can ignite learning and the fire in those students that like games but don’t find learning fun.

So how does game-based learning work?

Game based learning helps motivate the students to earn more points but they have to do so by answering questions correctly.  Serious games are built to teach, educate or inspire the individual playing the game. Most of the times kids may not even know that you are playing a serious game.
